Layna Stafford is a Lowcountry artist in Charleston S.C who has found an excited audience that embraces her abstract vision and impressionist pieces. God has awakened in her a passion to capture joy and peace through a brush and a canvas.

My Medium
I use layered acrylic and gold leaf on wrapped canvas for smaller pieces to capture the peace and joy of the horizon. Simple custom frame available on all my pieces.
My Inspiration
I am inspired by the horizon and the possibilities it symbolizes. What adventure awaits just ahead? Inversely, how can I reflect on the day as the sun sets? My work can best be described as light and calm.
